  • I am delighted to announce that Murat Ozkaya has been selected as the captain of the newly formed B-team, which will compete in this year's Winter League after having been absent for a number of years. Murat will still be part of the A-team though. His experience and enthusiasm will be vital to give especially the youngsters the confidence they need to fight for an A-team spot. Congratulations Murat, and good luck in your new role.

  • The Men's season is in full swing and the results have been mixed so far. July/August will be important months, as we have a number of high- quality London league matches of which some take place at Gurnell. For a full list of the fixtures/results, please visit the matches section on www.ealingcrabs.co.uk Some players of Ealing Marlins have had their first taste of competitive water polo, as they played with the men's team in a number of Middlesex league games. They stood their ground and with so many new players coming through the system, the aim to enter two men teams next year is another step closer. Ealing also organised and hosted a 4-team U13 water polo tournament at Acton Bath on Saturday 20 June. It was a great success and Ealing Marlins clinched 3rd place behind Fullham and winners Enfield, but they stayed ahead of Hillingdon. However, this was not Ealing Marlins first tournament, as they also participated at Watford's tournament on 7 June, in which they managed to get a third place, just missing out on the second spot. Furthermore, more junior water polo activities are being rolled out, as from Sunday 27 June (6-7pm) onwards Ealing Dolphins will have a water polo session in the deep end at Gurnell.

  • As per 1 May 2009, Sarpel Ustunel has taken over the role as Captain from Nick Murch, as he together with Nicki Harris have decided to move to East London. We would like to thank Nick and Nicki for all their contributions and wish them both good luck in East London.

  • From 10-15 June 2009, the senior team will be travelling to Croatia to train/play against a number of teams in Split. This will be a good preparation for the National Water Polo League Division 4, which will start in September 2009.

  • The juniors of Ealing Marlins (around 25) had a fantastic water polo session today with a tri-team tournament at Acton Bath between 5-7pm. Nikola Jovanovic (London Swimming) runs this session every Sunday between 5-6.30pm. The group is a mixture of ages and skills and it is good way for the juniors to get to know the basics of water polo.

  • Vice captain Johan van der Flier, has taken over the role of Club Secretary from Kevin Considine as he stepped down to take a break from water polo and spend more time with his family. Many thanks to Kevin for all the hard work he has put in over the past years and we wish him well.
