Club Rules

1. Each minute people are late for training equates to 2 press-ups

2. Being late at point of gathering for match without notification

· Consequence: Leave without you 5 minutes after agreed departure time

3. Being late for match meeting time without notification
-
· Start on bench
-
4. Selected to play, but no show without notification
-
· Consequence: Start on bench at next match
-
5. Fail to inform us about being away before match (at point of team selection)

· Consequence: Start on bench at next match
-
6. Warm-up is undertaken together lead by the (vice) captain

7. 3 majors at once (‘wrapping’)

· Consequence: £10 fine and start on bench at next match
-
8. Dissent (including swearing) at referee
-
· Consequence: £10 fine and start on bench at next match

9. Dissent (including swearing) to coach/other players

· Consequence: £5 fine, immediately dressing roomed and start on bench at next match

10. 3 majors in one match

· Consequence: £1 fine

11. The decision to select the team lies with the coach/(vice) captain and are based around attendance/performance/discipline rules

12. The coach/(vice) captain should give adequate notice (at least 2 days in advance) of whom is selected for a match. Exception to this rule is when there are two matches on one day during National League competition, as the team for the second match can be selected after the first match.

13. If selected, no guarantee can be given with regards to the amount of water time players will get

14. The sanction in relation to starting on the bench is the minimum and it is at the discretion of the captain to increase where it is felt necessary

15. The monies raised will be put into the water polo equipment fund or toward food/drink during National League

16. The rules will be enforced by the committee members
