Ealing Water Polo (The Crabs) is part of Ealing Swimming Club, currently the largest swimming club in the UK. Ealing Water Polo has a rich history spanning over twenty years competing in National, London and Middlesex League competitions. The senior men's team is comprised of players from a diverse range of both personal and sporting backgrounds, with a mix of young professionals, students and overseas travellers from countries including; Australia, Bulgaria, Croatia, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Lithuania, Poland, Serbia, Spain and Turkey. Ages currently range from sixteen to forty/fifty something.
The senior team trains every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 9-10pm at Gurnell Leisure Centre in Perivale, West London. The club operates a successful men's team and is currently in the process of developing a women's team, a second men's team and over forties team.

In addition, Ealing Water Polo has also setup a thriving junior polo section, in which youngsters born 1993 and after train every Saturday from 6-7pm at Gurnell Leisure Centre , youngsters born 1997and after on Sundays from 5-6pm and youngsters born between 1993 and 1997 on 6-7pm at Acton Bath in Acton, West London. National water polo rules allow both male and female players from the aforementioned age groups to form integrated gender teams.
Women's water polo is rapidly becoming an increasingly popular sport. In response to this trend, The UK has established local and national leagues. With Ealing Polo successfully securing additional deep-water pool time, Ealing Crabs is actively developing a Women's team. If you are an experienced player or a beginner from any sporting back ground, who is not afraid of a challenge, has some swimming experience and interested in having fun whilst keeping fit, then we would love for you to come and join Ealing Water Polo.
